The city is investigating low cost (paint and flex-post) improvements to Chestnut from Beacon to Boylston for provide traffic calming and safety. Any implementations will happen next year.
Complete Streets Working Group started review today, based in part on information from Councilor Downs. The city also has preliminary plans for curb extensions in this section, but there’s no funding for them at this time. They may provide some options for painting however.
